The Australian Respirator, Anti-Gas, Light replaced the Australian MK.V general service respirator around 1943. The Australian Respirator, Anti-Gas, Light is an almost identical copy of the British light weight. The most obvious difference between the Australian Respirator, Anti-Gas, Light & the British light weight gas mask, is the camouflage pattern for jungle warfare. The Australian Respirator, Anti-Gas, Light was produced by multiple manufacturers, the example pictured was made by Kenworth.
