The GX-86 is powered by two size “C” batteries. 

 

This example of a GX-86 is shown with its 5 metre extension cable / unit attached.  Also pictured is a Gastech Australia carry case, as well as three calibration gas bottles (left to right: Hydrogen sulphide, methane & carbon monoxide).  


This detector was used by Newcastle City Council at Summerhill Waste Management Centre near Newcastle, Australia.
